Animation.

In Spring 2022, I was finally introduced to actual animation with 3D models and figures through Blender. in Fall 2022, I took CPI421, a 3D Modeling and Texturing course for Game Design. I learned 3DS Max, MudBox, and MotionBuilder to create, sculpt, rig, texture, and animate 3D models.

 
 

Dec 8, 2022. A 3D Character Model I modeled in 3DS Max and MudBox. Rigged and animated in 3DS Max and MotionBuilder. MoCap data is from http://mocap.cs.cmu.edu.

Mar 27, 2022 My first time animating a human rig, so getting the perfect walk mechanics down took quite a lot of work, but this is the final result! It was also my first attempt at working with clothing.

April 6, 2022 My first attempt at creating a 4-wheeled vehicle. Used drivers in Blender and modeled car myself. Tire image texture is not mine, and HDRI background is from polyhaven.com.

Mar 20, 2022 Animated Bowl of Soup. My first time working with Blender’s keyframes and finally learned how to animate through Blender.

May 3, 2022. Mermaidified. My final Blender animation that is approx. 45 seconds. Includes rigged model that I animated myself frame by frame, animations, dynamic paint for water, and image textures for surroundings.

Motion Capture Experience

In Spring 2023, I took a AME320 Motion Capture and Integrated Systems where we formed groups and learned the process of Motion Capture and how to retarget it onto a human model and produce an overall film!
